Simon and his wife have lived in Billesdon for about ten years. Prior to that, we lived in Tugby for ten years. They have two grown-up children, both living in London, and five grandchildren.

Simon is retired, having had careers in the Oil industry, in the UK and abroad, and in the diet and fitness industry, working for Rosemary Conley.

He is an active golfer, part-time cyclist and an orienteer (and regularly runs around the Billesdon area, trying to keep fit!)

Since retiring, he has qualified as a Citizens' Advice advisor, and helped to set up the Billesdon Good Neighbours scheme (of which he is a volunteer)

Having wanted to put something into the local community, and having put himself forward, he was co-opted as a Parish Councillor in 2010.

Simon is currently Chairman of Billesdon Parish Council, and is also a member of the Billesdon Planning Advisory Group.
