Peter has lived in Billesdon since 2003 with his wife Andrea. They have a son and a daughter who both live in Brighton – one in Sussex and the other in Melbourne. His first career was in the Probation Service (covering Billesdon in the 70's!) and then lecturing at the University of Leicester School of Social Work. In more recent times, he has worked as a self-employed behavioural training consultant, working with global companies in many parts of the world - but always thinks it feels good to come back to rural England.

He claims to be fiercely unaligned politically, driven more by notions of fairness and equality for all. He has been a member of the Parish Council for several years now and is currently the Council's representative on The Coplow Centre Committee.
